When should I use the urgent care clinic?
This clinic is to allow people with an urgent new health problem or the deterioration of a pre-existing problem, to be seen promptly by a physician.  It is not designed to take the place of pre-booked appointments.  We advise you to call Telehealth (1-866-797-0000) to speak with a trained nurse if you are uncertain about the urgency of your problem.
Prescription renewals, paperwork requests, wart treatments, regular injections, pap tests and issues that have been present and unchanged for several weeks are examples of things that should be dealt with at a scheduled appointment NOT at the urgent care clinic.
The on-call physician is responsible for the Emergency Room and the Hospital, as well as the urgent care clinic.  Thus, patients who are most ill will be seen first and we cannot guarantee nor predict the waiting time for those who are less acutely ill.  A doctor will see you as soon as is feasible.

Our office policy states the following:
• That staff are not at any time permitted to give out the name of the doctor on-call.

• You may not pre-book an urgent care visit time over the phone.
• You will not be able to call and speak to the doctors, but the staff can take a  message from you
